The UK’s first government-regulated qualification in botulinum toxins and dermal fillers. This intensive 6-18 month course is designed to make you stand out. Includes foundation training, 148 hours of theory, 20 patients observed, and 20 patients treated.
Aesthetic medicine allows medical professionals to combine their creativity with clinical expertise. Our flagship level 7 course focuses on the two most requested aesthetic treatments: botulinum toxins and dermal fillers.
Harley Academy occupies a distinguished place in the field of aesthetics training because of this course, which is the UK’s first government-regulated Level 7 qualification in aesthetic medicine.
Teaching is split between face-to-face lectures, online learning, and clinical practice. The course has four stages:
1. FOUNDATION DAY Basic practical botulinum toxin (“Botox”) and dermal filler training. The day is the introductory workshop to the L7 Injectables qualification.
2. ONLINE LEARNING 142 hours of CPD-accredited university-standard material. Study in your own time, at your own pace. Your progress is monitored, so you can pick up where you left off.
3. CLINICAL MENTORING Clinical mentoring at Harley Academy allows you to consult and treat genuine patients under the guidance of an experienced mentor. We guarantee that students will observe and practise a minimum of 40 treatments in total, as per HEE guidelines. This will usually be in the form of:
Two observation days (average of 8 patients per session)
Four 1:1 mentoring Sessions (average of 6 patients per session)
4. ASSESSMENT Short Answer Questions (written assignments) and a final Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Both elements must be passed in order to meet the Qualification requirements
Exam days take place throughout the year, so you will not be restricted by a standard academic timetable.
