As such, we are expanding our Level 7 Diploma course to further enhance our students’ learning and provide a more seamless experience.
Upgraded, engaging learning
Whilst the Level 7 Diploma in Botox and Dermal Fillers is already the leader in its field, we wanted to upgrade the course for a number of reasons.
Our upgraded Level 7 now provides:
• enhanced educational content with more advanced treatments and video learning
• added complications and business training, including aesthetics marketing
• an immersive education for improved engagement
• a more streamlined, easy-to-use eLearning experience
• accessible modules organised into manageable “chunks”.
To get a better idea of what was involved in making these changes, we spoke to the team responsible for levelling up the Level 7…
Product Manager, Yousuf Tareen (pictured below), who facilitated the refresh, explains, “This upgraded Level 7 is the most comprehensive eLearning out there. It is much more polished, more detailed and includes captioned videos, as well as being easy to navigate. It will better prepare students for their hands-on injector training sessions in clinic. Also, the improved content and better layout make going through the learning more rewarding for the student. These updates reflect our mission to provide the highest standards of aesthetic medicine training through the Level 7.”
More intuitive, less “online textbook”
Moving away from traditional “online textbook” courses, eLearning Manager, Philomena Lines implemented changes to ensure the Level 7 experience was as engaging as possible.
“Along with the addition of VTCT material to meet those standards, the eLearning modules have been re-designed to be more user-friendly and intuitive. There’s less unnecessary clicking on screens so navigation is more straightforward and easy to understand. Also the look and feel has been updated and modernised,” she reveals.
“Our new offering is more innovative and forward-thinking in terms of learning trends and accessibility. The course is split into more manageable modules, then further divided into chapters to help with the flow. This allows the learner to dip in and out of it more easily. We also are using much more video content which is more accommodating for a range of learning styles,” she adds.
“I believe the Level 7 course is something that should change and evolve alongside the company’s growth and also changing standards in aesthetics. It should always be up-to-date and current. This upgrade ensures it is reflective of present guidelines and practices.”
Advanced content added for “incredible value”
As director of education, Dr Kalpna Pindolia was heavily involved in advancing the Level 7 course. This included:
• streamlining the content to introducing clinical questions
• making the material more relevant to daily practice
• introducing more, fresh treatment demonstration videos
• adding updated advanced botulinum toxin treatment content.
