All of our Level 7 Injectables students benefit from a truly unique support system. In addition to your clinical supervisor, you will have a personal tutor throughout the duration of your studies (and beyond), who will be on hand for any clinical questions, as well as enquiries about all elements of the course.



You can get your previous experience or training formally recognised with Harley Academy. This will future-proof your career and ensure that you can still gain cosmetic insurance as training requirements change in the coming years.

For the Foundation Day and logbook of cases (units 6 & 8), Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is possible for those who have already completed these elsewhere. Refer to our RPL Policy for full details, and contact us now to find out how soon you could qualify with your postgraduate certificate.



  • A Level 6 (undergraduate) degree in medicine, nursing, midwifery, dentistry or pharmacy
  • A valid GMC/NMC/GDC/GPhC number
  • English as a first language, or English Language Testing System (IELTS) 7.0 in all components

International students may be accepted if an equivalent level of education can be demonstrated, and you are professionally registered. Please refer to our Entry Requirements Policy for details.

All applicants must provide their professional registration number in support of their application. You may also be asked to provide a CV.


  • A one day introductory course of training in both botulinum toxins and dermal fillers, led by expert aesthetic doctors. This day will provide you with a certificate that allows you to start injecting botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments, so that you can continue your practical training and take it to government-recommended standards.

  • 142 hours of BCAM CPD accredited university-standard material. The e-learning covers the latest medical research in botulinum toxins, dermal fillers, skin ageing, dermatology, psychology, ethics, law, policy, and principles of treatment in aesthetics. Study in your own time, at your own pace. Your progress is monitored, so you can pick up where you left off.

  • All students observe and practise 40 treatments in total, as per HEE guidelines. Our clinical mentoring allows you to consult and treat genuine patients under expert guidance, in a real, successful clinic. You will receive personal tuition as you proceed, allowing rapid improvement in your practical proficiency.

  • You will complete 34 short assignments of 100-600 words in total. These cover the core topics: dermatology, principles of treatment, cosmetic psychology, botulinum toxins, and soft tissue fillers. Your theoretical knowledge and practical skills will also be assessed on exam day, comprised of 8 OSCE stations. Exam days take place throughout the year, so you will not be restricted by a standard academic timetable.
