Global pharmaceutical company Allergan®, has launched a brand new a hyaluronic acid injectable gel called JUVÉDERM® VOLUX which has been designed specifically to sculpt the chin and jaw area. As an appointed training provider of Allergan®, we have crafted JUVÉDERM® VOLUX product training for the lower face. The aim of this training is to build the skills and confidence of aesthetics professionals, to elevate the quality of aesthetic treatment outcomes to patients and to encourage the ethical growth of aesthetics careers. This product training consists of a 1.5 hour appointment at our training clinic to treat your patient and is ideal for experienced practitioners who want to learn how to use VOLUX to its full potential.
Our eLearning allows you to study theory in advance of your practical. Topics covered includes: Key injection techniques with JUVÉDERM® VOLUX and a treatment overview with JUVÉDERM® VOLUX.

Learn how to use JUVÉDERM® VOLUX
All lower face filler treatments will use JUVÉDERM® VOLUX.
We will provide full guidance to help you in selecting a suitable patient. Your patient’s first treatment is included, with additional treatments being chargeable at £150 per treatment administered.
This course delivers all the essential parts of a one day course into flexible distance learning and a high intensity practical one hour slot at the time of your choosing.
You will first complete the JUVÉDERM® VOLUX eLearning module, which covers: Defining the face shape, anatomy of the lower face, factors that affect facial volume, a treatment overview of JUVÉDERM® VOLUX, injection technique with JUVÉDERM® VOLUX and potential complications.

Then you’ll attend your 1.5 hour appointment at our training clinic, to treat your patient. During your JUVÉDERM® VOLUX training appointment, you will: Review your patient’s history and examination findings, design a lower face treatment plan, treat your patient under supervision, whilst learning the appropriate injection technique and give aftercare advice.
You will also receive a professional before and after photo for you to post on social media, providing your patient consents.
*We require you to bring your own patient for treatment because it is essential that you review your patient after two weeks to benefit fully from the learning experience. We provide full guidance in selecting your patient.
After completion, you will be able to download your certificate of attendance through your Harley Academy account.

Describe the science behind JUVÉDERM® VOLUX
Explain the cross-linking technology behind the VYCROSS range. For JUVÉDERM® VOLUX, describe its cohesivity, elasticity and hyaluronic acid concentration relative to other fillers in the range.
Design a treatment plan for the lower face using JUVÉDERM® VOLUX
Understand the surgical and non-surgical options which exist to change the profile of the lower face. Describe bony abnormalities of the chin.
Safely deliver a treatment using JUVÉDERM® VOLUX
Give appropriate aftercare advice for JUVÉDERM® VOLUX
Who Is This For
Delegates must be a Doctor, Dentist or Nurse and have completed basic training in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. Please note that we do not accept dental nurses or dental hygienists on any of our injectables or cosmetic dermatology courses including those with GDC numbers.

With a background in anaesthetics, Dr Hackney is an experienced aesthetic practitioner who combines practical skill with her artistic eye to provide holistic training for students. She is passionate about laying fundamental concepts of patient safety whilst teaching aesthetic medicine from a scientific perspective.
