By combining our two most intensive training courses, the Cosmetic Dermatology program and Level 7 Qualification in Injectables, the combined Aesthetic Medicine course is designed for ambitious medical professionals looking to thrive in the exciting world of aesthetics.

Be Job Ready

As an Aesthetic Medicine graduate, you’ll leave with a solid base of fundamental cosmetic dermatology knowledge, as well as a robust portfolio of hands-on experience with injectables, advanced skin rejuvenation techniques, and experience in private clinical practice that both employers and entrepreneurship in this sector demand.

Interview Guarantee

All Aesthetic Medicine trainees will be prioritised for highly sought-after jobs from leading clinic chains and independent clinics. We even guarantee Aesthetic Medicine trainees an interview and support in finding a job upon completion of training.

Course Structure

The course consists of a blended programme including hands-on practical days with patients, online learning, webinars, and business support to start your career.

What Will I learn?

By the end of this intensive programme, you will be able to:

Confidently administer Botulinum toxins

You can deepen your understanding of the science of botulinum toxins, including: mechanisms of action, how to consult for a wide range of indications, an array of optimal injection techniques, and how to manage complications and side-effects.

Confidently administer Dermal fillers

You can deepen your understanding of the science of dermal fillers, including: mechanisms of action, how to consult for a wide range of indications, an array of optimal injection techniques, and how to manage complications and side-effects. You will gain confidence in more advanced indications of dermal fillers and develop a full-face approach to rejuvenation and beautification.

Apply ethics and law in aesthetic medicine

Good medical practice is essential for a long-term career in aesthetics. Have an understanding of how to protect yourself and your patients legally and ethically.

Incorporate psychology into your consultations

Recognising healthy and unhealthy psychological drivers is crucial for good practice in aesthetic medicine. Understand the signs of body dysmorphia, and how to deal with patients who may need to be refused treatment.

Optimise results using your patient’s skin

The skin is the foundation for all cosmetic procedures. On this course you’ll learn in detail the structure and function of both the skin and hair and how they age over time. You will also learn to recognise skin conditions and treat patients suffering from skin-related concerns.

Advise on skin care

Skin products that clients apply regularly to the surface of their skin range from highly effective to useless, or even dangerous. This course teaches you to actually understand what active ingredients work and which ones don’t, and advise your clients effectively.

Perform microneedling treatments

Confidently include microneedling with a roller device in your clinical practice.

Perform simple to advanced chemical peels

In addition to superficial ‘lunchtime’ peels, you’ll also learn how to confidently tackle darker skin types, peel non-facial areas, layer peeling agents for a more intense result, and use retinol and TCA to peel to a medium-depth.

Combine rejuvenation treatments

Use injectables, microneedling and chemical peels together for even better results tailored to your client’s facial structure, desires, and skin goals.
