The Academy Clinic

The Academy Clinic is the dedicated Harley Academy clinic where our students are mentored by our expert clinical trainers with live patients. Our trainees, who are qualified medical professionals, provide safe and affordable treatments, under the close supervision of expert practitioners – our Harley Academy trainers. Trainees learn more about the cosmetic procedures that they undergo, and about their own facial anatomy and proportions.

Awarding Organisation

How do you know you can trust a qualification? Always check the government register before signing up for a course. If it’s not on the register, it is not properly accredited and doesn’t need to comply with national guidelines. Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) is the Ofqual-regulated awarding body that accredits our Level 7 Diploma. They check the consistency and integrity of our teaching and assessments. We believe you should be able to trust your qualifications to honour the learning outcomes they promise, and VTCT allows us to meet those expectations.

Harley Academy is the only aesthetics training provider to have achieved the status of being a GMC-approved Designated Body for doctors practising in aesthetic medicine.

This relationship has been in place for over five years and our Responsible Officer is Dr Andrew Cooney, Consultant Anaesthetist, who works with our team to process appraisals and revalidation, alongside CPD, for doctors wishing to work in the field.

This facility is a world-renowned centre of excellence for psychological and interdisciplinary, patient-centred research in appearance, disfigurement, body image and related studies.

Our relationship with this leading organisation involved co-authoring our Psychology of Appearance online learning module, alongside further research into screening tools for vulnerable patients seeking cosmetic intervention.
