Training courses that run over a day or a weekend are not appropriate for the competencies required by the Department of Health review. Harley Academy endeavours to support patient safety through our offering training to the required professional, Higher Education standard.

In order to meet the new Health Education England requirements for practical competencies, delegates are expected to complete at least 40 practical cases during mentoring with an approved supervisor.

This breaks down to:

  • Observing 10 treatments of botulinum toxin
  • Performing 10 treatments of botulinum toxin under supervision
  • Observing 10 treatments of dermal fillers
  • Performing 10 treatments of dermal fillers under supervision.

Harley Academy has established their own Clinic in order to allow delegates to meet these requirements in genuine clinical environments.

Even if you are an experienced practitioner, it is becoming essential to formalise your competency with an accredited qualification. Experienced practitioners receive special prices and allowances for work that they have already completed. For this reason we have an entire RPL Policy that covers how we can officially accredit your prior learning, and provide you with a level 7 qualification as evidence of this.

We are not affiliated with any manufacturer therefore our students gain competencies with any botulinum toxin including BOTOX® and Azzalure®.

Harley Academy is leading the revolution of aesthetic training away from weekend courses towards a more comprehensive, competency based certification as per other training pathways in medical specialties.

Upon graduation, Cosmetic Insure are exclusively granting our graduates one month of free cosmetic insurance to encourage immediate practice of learned skills.

The Harley Academy Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine meets HEE requirements by being regulated by Ofqual. This is evidence that it provides all the practical and theoretical training you need to achieve HEE-standard certification in the delivery of botulinum toxins and dermal fillers.
