Dr Raul Cetto

Medical Director & Clinical Mentor

An Honorary Researcher and Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College London, Dr Cetto has trained in aesthetics with the famous Dr Obagi and practises at Clinic 1.6 in London. Dr Cetto also holds a diploma in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr Emily MacGregor

Curriculum Development Lead & Clinical Mentor

An aesthetic practitioner and teacher with a background of emergency and intensive care medicine. Emily authors and improves our academic content. She completed a psychology degree alongside her medical degree and is interested in the field of the Psychology of Appearance and how this applies to the cosmetic industry.

Dr Kalpna Pindolia

Clinical Executive & Lead Trainer

An aesthetic practitioner, trainer, assessor and GMC appraiser with a background in emergency and maritime medicine. Kalpna relishes supporting Harley Academy students as they transition into their new speciality. Kal is dedicated to a holistic approach to the individual from both medical and psychological perspectives.

Simone Golumb

Skin Rejuvenation Lead

Simone writes academic content and leads our Skin Rejuvenation training days. She started her career in the NHS but realised her passion was for aesthetics and became Lead Tutor at Mapperley Park, teaching qualifications in Light and Laser Therapy. Simone is a widely experienced and qualified trainer for several laser and IPL systems.

Tracy Butler, clinical faculty at Harley Academy

Tracy Butler, RGN, NIP

Clinical Mentor

Tracy is an independent nurse prescriber with over 14 years experience in aesthetics. As a trainer with Mapperley Park Academy, she is one of the UK’s leading aesthetic nurses and has had her work published in the Journal of Aesthetics. Tracy supervises botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments at Sk:n Birmingham.

Dr Robin Stones

Clinical Mentor

Currently Medical Director at Courthouse Clinics, Robin has been working in aesthetic medicine for 17 years. Alongside his role at Courthouse, he holds dermatology posts in the NHS,  tutors on the UCLan Master’s degree course in Facial Aesthetics, and has presented widely at professional conferences.

Dr Tristan Mehta

Founder & CEO

A medical doctor and entrepreneur, Tristan holds a postgraduate diploma in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Manchester. Tristan founded Harley Academy to combat the established lack of standardised medical training provided within the speciality.

Dr Nic Blackwell, PhD

Director of Interactive Learning

Nic is CEO of OCB Media, the NHS’s online learning provider. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Leicester, Visiting Associate Professor at Tokyo Medical University, and Honorary Research Associate at University College London.

Alex Godsell

Chief Operating Officer

Alex manages the delivery of Harley Academy’s offerings across all departments. He has a background in economics, finance and investment banking, and has held commercial roles in companies that specialise in workforce education and technology-led transformation.

Parveen Downer

Head of Courses

Parveen has a background in Life Sciences and Anthropology, with experience in strategising operations and logistics in medical education. She oversees Harley Academy’s quality assurance, training events and operations, with a focus on student journey.

Beth Swingler

Head of Content

Cambridge philosophy graduate with a background in technology, consulting, events, and using functional near-­infrared spectroscopy to monitor brain activity. She oversees production of high-quality, searchable, thought-leading content.

Deneal Basi

Head of Student Recruitment

Deneal has over 15 years of experience in sales and student recruitment within the private education sector. He oversees the student recruitment team, ensuring that all prospective students receive the highest levels of customer service from enquiry to enrolment.

Dr Marcus Mehta

Head of Community

Marcus is a medical doctor and aesthetic practitioner with a postgraduate diploma in clinical dermatology, allowing him to be our medical lead on Skin Rejuvenation courses. He also offers specialist advice, guidance and support to our large medical community of Level 7 students and graduates. 

Joëlle Rotsaert

Clinics Marketing Manager

Joëlle is a Belgian fashion management graduate who has previous marketing experience in the fashion and beauty industry. She is responsible for all Harley Academy Clinics marketing including branding, design, social media, web, and managing our network of digital influencers.

Charlie Cunningham

Mentoring Logistics Manager

After studying ancient history Charlie gained experience in logistics and management. He has overseen the expansion of Harley Academy’s mentoring programme and the growth of our clinical network, and supports Harley Academy mentors across the UK.

Benedict Spring

Assessments Manager

Ben is a classics graduate with experience in project management and multimedia production, both inside and outside of education. He ensures all our students are confidently able to complete the rigorous assessments required for our qualifications, and coordinates the distribution of new learning material.

Elliot Roper

Student Enquiries

Elliot has extensive experience and knowledge in private healthcare and patient coordination. He is responsible for managing student enquiries and provides support across both student and patient recruitment.

Gabrielle Thuesday

Student Support & Events

Gaby is a PR and advertising graduate with a background in customer relations for multinational organisations. Alongside ensuring the smooth running of training events Gabrielle is studying to gain CIPD Associates status in learning and development.

Sophie Tunstall

Patient Coordinator

Sophie is a Level 3 qualified beauty therapist turned customer champion. Her clinical front of house experience equips her excellently to support both our patients and professional beauty clients.

Prof Nichola Rumsey

Centre for Appearance Research

Professor Rumsey founded the Centre for Appearance Research at the University of West England in 1992. She is now Professor and Co-Director of the centre and publishes widely on topics in the psychosociology of human appearance.

Dr Alison Burton, MBBS, LLB

Non-surgical Cosmetic Procedures

A Finland-based cosmetic doctor, researcher and writer with over 12 years experience in aesthetic medicine. Dr Burton’s previous practice in dermatology and basic skin cancer surgery in the UK led to an academic interest in the ageing process of the skin and facial structures.
